What is los caneros?

Los Caneros is a Mexican musical group that specializes in banda music. They were formed in 1997 and hail from the city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. The band's name "Los Caneros" means "the sugar cane workers", a nod to the agricultural roots of Sinaloa.
